In crafting the packaging for “Compoost,” our herbivore animal poop fertilizer derived from the meticulous composting efforts at the zoo, my goal was to strike a balance between elegance and environmental consciousness. The design I curated aimed at appealing to the general public, particularly those passionate about gardening and conservation. Adopting a simple yet sophisticated approach, the packaging featured earthy tones, and clear, informative labeling to convey the product’s natural origins and its benefits for sustainable gardening practices.

The success of the design was evident as “Compoost” resonated with consumers, selling over 50,000 units in under six months. This achievement affirmed the power of thoughtful design in making an eco-conscious product.

Choosing plant-based materials for the biodegradable phone cases, the minimalist yet impactful polar bear design aimed to raise awareness about the urgent global warming crisis affecting these iconic creatures.
The limited color palette echoed Pela’s commitment to simplicity and sustainability, aligning with their mission to leave a positive environmental footprint. Each purchase contributed a percentage to Polar Bears International, raising over $80,000 for the conservation of polar bears and their habitats. This collaboration serves as a compelling example of how conscious design choices and purpose-driven partnerships can drive meaningful contributions to environmental causes, marking a significant step towards a sustainable future.
