Waterman's Wave Boot Trail
The Watermen’s Wave Lowcountry Boot Trail an art installation launched in January 2024. The trail features 12 oversized watermen’s boots that have been painted by local artists.
The Boots I created are displayed at the Cypress Wetlands trail in Port Royal, SC and showcase animals native to the wetlands where they are displayed. The design features the alligator, blue heron, white-tailed deer, and blue crab, celebrating the rich biodiversity of the area. The piece highlights the beauty of these creatures and their habitat, creating a vibrant tribute to the local wildlife.

Unity of the Community
Over 100 Columbia, SC community members united and helped me paint “Unity of the Community” a 6ft by 3ft masterpiece that is permanently displayed at West Columbia City Hall, symbolizing connections between people. The Gervais Street Bridge serves as the central theme, representing the collaborative spirit that bridges communities.

The artwork, enhanced with an Augmented Reality (AR) element, comes to life when scanned with a smartphone. Watch as the river flows and clouds swirl, adding an interactive and modern touch to this collective community creation. Visit West Columbia City Hall to experience this dynamic blend of traditional art and technology, showcasing the unity and creativity of the Columbia community.
If you can't visit the physical painting you can own it digitally! The animated NFT token is available for purchase HERE
Black in Nature
'Black in Nature' and ‘Black Birders Week’ Promotes Diversity and Takes on Racism in the Outdoors
Sparked by a racist incident in June, 2020 in Central Park. The new initiative aims to boost recognition and representation of Black people enjoying and studying the natural world.

I connected with the leaders of this event and participate in artistic projects that bring awareness to minority groups. #Blackbirdersweek #BlackinSTEM #LatinxOutdoors #ConservationCultura #DiversifyOutdoors
